B17 manual, pilots information, erection and maintenance, airplane inspection, your body in flight

This CD contains over 1600 scanned pages of the original manuals used by pilots and crews of the B-17F bomber. Eleven files, over 230 megs of WWII memorabilia. These manuals date from 1937 to 1944 and are in excellent condition. The Pilots Information File, the Airplane Inspection Guide, the Anderson Airplane School manuals and the Boeing Field Service News have been scanned as images and for character recognition. All of the manuals are in .pdf format, have been thumbnailed and the larger ones bookmarked using each original table of contents as a guide. A copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader is included on the CD for browsing and printing the files. The CD comes in a jewel case for safekeeping.
